We are looking for a Technical Presales Consultant with focus on building out and maintaining our demonstration environments and transactional scenario library in support of sales pursuits and target market initiatives.
In this role you will be part of Medius Presales team and play a vital role in supporting Presales and Sales engagements. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with Global Solution Consultants: Partner with solution consultants worldwide to design and deliver tailored solution demonstrations for Medius prospects, leveraging customer-provided transactions.
- Master Medius Technology: Develop deep expertise in configuring Medius solutions to showcase their capabilities effectively in various scenarios.
- Maintain Standalone Demonstration Environments: Build, configure, and sustain standalone demo environments that operate independently of backend ERP systems.
- Enhance with Product Innovation: Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to integrate new features into demonstration environments, ensuring they reflect the latest capabilities.
- Develop and Manage Scenario Libraries: Create and maintain a comprehensive library of demonstration scenario scripts within Confluence. These scripts serve as essential tools for rapidly enabling Medius Value Consulting (presales) and partner resources to demonstrate and articulate the value and functionality of key features and transactional workflows.
- Optimize Demonstration Efficiency: Design and implement technologies and processes to efficiently maintain demonstration environments. This includes:
*Ensuring transactional data remains current and relevant through periodic updates to dates and content.
*Curating industry-specific transactional content (e.g., retail vs. industrial purchase orders and invoices) to resonate with targeted audiences.
- Drive Data Relevance: Regularly refresh and align demonstration content to industry trends and standards, ensuring demonstrations remain impactful and contextually meaningful.
In addition to the above, other things you will do include:
- Configuration and technical setup of our demonstration environments
- Become functionally proficient in multiple ERP systems to stage demonstration content in support of custom demonstrations. This might include things like setting up projects, fixed assets, purchase orders, and payment files.
- Be technically proficient to be able to build technical solutions to automate repetitive tasks and drive efficiency and quality in support of these objectives
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Medius packaged integrations for Microsoft and Netsuite ERP systems to our demonstration environments. Documenting and relaying issues you encounter to respective teams within Medius to ensure better customer experience.
- Work with the presales team in understanding demonstration objectives and transactional scenarios to be showcased
- Ensure the latest features released into our cloud based solution are enabled into the demonstration environment and configured as appropriate. Ensure the benefits and value proposition of the said features are documented in the demonstration scenarios within Confluence.
- Maintain periodic cadence with Medius Product Management and Engineering to stay abreast of roadmap, innovations and their expected benefit
- Conduct technical meetings with customers as asked / required.
What kind of experience should you have?
- Functional ERP experience or aptitude in working in Microsoft Dynamics and Netsuite ERP applications and a Bachelor of Science degree, or higher
- A good understanding of procurement, accounts payable, and accounting transactions
- A good understanding of integrations and API ́s
- Proficient in English written language
- Prior experience of IT system implementations, preferably cloud based/SaaS Structured work approach and good communication skills
- The ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality and control
- Fluency in English
