Job overview
As part of our R&D team, we are seeking individuals who are passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, delivering high-quality services into production. If you have a development background and are looking to transition into a role focused on understanding business processes, translating them into technical requirements and ensuring these are delivered effectively —while still retaining some involvement in development—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of robust, high-quality business applications and integrations by working closely with stakeholders & customers, gathering and refining requirements, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping how our applications evolve and are delivered within a dynamic and ever-changing business landscape.
Additionally, this position offers the chance to engage directly with clients across the globe, helping to define and refine their needs while ensuring seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
Some of the tasks you will be performing
- Work closely with stakeholders and customers to understand & analyse their business processes, translating them into technical requirements.
- Produce high quality internal and customer facing documentation to describe requirements & solutions.
- Contribute to the development of Medius core systems, ensuring your solutions are brought to life.
- Lead discovery & workshop calls with customers and stakeholders around the world
- Work in a cross-functional, international team of professionals who really care about their work and support each other
Requirements for the position
- Prior experience of cloud-based/SaaS IT systems.
- Prior experience of writing structured requirement or specification documents.
- Prior experience of software development practices, preferably within the .NET area.
- Structured work approach and good communication skills
- The ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality and control
The following experiences are preferred:
- Previous experience working with Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX/Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV/Business Central, or Infor M3.
- Prior experience in Spend management, Source-to-Pay/Purchase-to-Pay.
- PowerBI, basic understanding of SQL Databases & simple queries or other reporting tools, XML Schemas.
- Experience with handling numerous projects simultaneously, with varied timelines
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
